The south view should be really impressive within a few years. Embassy suites should fill in part of the gap between the Renaissance Hotel and Tennessee Tower, Tony G’s tower next to the Downtown YMCA might help bridge the gap between the JW and Tennessee Tower, Nashville Yards looks to be extending it to the west, and the Four Seasons/Hensler Rolling Hill Mill tower will add a good bit of height on the east end. 
 

Now add Paramount, the possible 40 story Nashville Yards tower, Circle South tower(s), 805 Lea, whatever gets built at the Tennessean site, One22One, and Endeavor and it’s even more impressive.

On the 20th anniversary of the Music City Miracle here is a shot of Nissan Stadium (formerly Adelphia Coliseum) with the moon overhead and the Fifth Third Center (formerly Suntrust Center)  looming in the foreground.  Fifth Third gets overlooked because it is surrounded by other buildings.  At 33 years old it is still a jewel.

Also today, we see progress on the Federal Courthouse.  Interesting symmetry with the garbage can in the foreground (twin peaks?) and most of the precast facade installed on the west side.
