Ahhh, ain't TDOT 'wunnerfool'?  That interchange has been a cluster-f forever. But don't anyone dare touch that narrow rock underpass where I-24 splits from I-65.  Must be a sacred grotto there, or something. 

I have my own beef with TDOT as the drive from Chattanooga to Nashville gets worse by the week. The whole stretch of I-24 from Moccasin Bend to Murfreesboro has not changed a whit since I graduated from Vandy. Meanwhile, I'm sure traffic count has nearly doubled since then.

I was going to try and work on this more this weekend and realize that this is a first effort. This is a rendition of future and under construction towers in the downtown and possible East Bank area.

Thank you for your comment.  It just added 4 lanes to the interstate in the least populous county in TN.
