Haha well if we're going into the details, then we also can't forget that it flashed red and blue when the Red Sox won the world series in 2004, 2007, and 2013.

But here, rather than the L&C tower, the Bridgestone building seems like a better modern candidate for broadcasting the forecast, and without having to change the color code.

TBT: 1913 at Geist Horse Shoe, 311 Jefferson St.  So sad that this (converted into a restaurant 2 years ago) was hit hard during the tornado.

I hate this.   I’ve always loved the little Geist building.  I’ve had this painting on my wall for some years.   The artist did it to bring attention to the building back when it was in serious disrepair and in danger of being lost.    

On the bright side I read an interview with the restaurant owner after the tornado that sounded like the damage can and will be repaired.

Those are great! Thanks. That second one hardly looks like Nashville... mainly because of the breadth of the highrises... and Batman is getting less prominent.  IMHO... somewhat San Diegoish.
