I haven't been in the area very long (7 years) but I believe pretty much everything I circled in black has been built in just the last few years.  And I'm sure I missed some.  I mean, almost that entire left third of the skyline is new.  It's like Nashville added the skylines of Birmingham and Knoxville in one fell swoop.

An incredible shot but AHHH what I wouldn't give for it to show just a little bit more on the left hand side of the photo... then it would be the perfect FULL SKYLINE shot that I've always looked for but can never find.

Yeah...I kept looking at that and wondering what building it was because it looks like it's right next to the JWM.  Can you imagine what it will look like when the Broadwest hotel/residence is finished?  Or when 4 Seasons is finished?  What a great shot.

More like added B’ham, Knoxville, and Memphis.  Birmingham’s skyline is just pitiful as is Memphis.
