What does the top of Batman look from the inside? I don't think I've ever seen a photo from the inside of the glass-enclosed portion. Is it even accessible?

i think this is one of the best Nashville photos I have seen in a while.  It evolkes a great balance between our Nashville culture and the strength of our downtown core.  I wish images like this could be used instead of out of date views on websites.  This popped up on my FB...all I know is the photographer's name is Erica.   Great shot.

I believe it is all storage. I've never set foot in the building, but that is what I have heard.

Stumbled across these as I did some online search for addresses being affected by new construction.  I hope I'm not violating any rules here, but just wanted to post a few pics from spring 1978 I found fascinating from the Tennessean online: https://www.tennessean.com/story/news/2018/05/17/nashville-then-may-1978-highlights-sounds-stadium-dedication/618536002/   The Tennessean creates these retrospective slideshows from time-to-time. 

West End and Natchez Trace (site of Wendy's) 

A restaurant called Maude's located at 1911 Broadway in a 100+ year old (at the time) building that was demolished last week for a new Mexican food chain

There was a Green Hills Theater which apparently was at the site (now) of a "25,748 s.f. shopping complex" (very specific!) somewhere on "Brandywood" (sic)  I think it's actually the building where Trader Joes is located. 

Web Pierce built a guitar shaped pool on Music Row. I wonder if it's still there.

Don't know if I've ever noticed that building before.  Very ugly! Is it a retirement center?

I saw the recent post MLBrumby made with the old pics, and  I wanted to create an account and say thanks. The top picture at West End and Natchez (Colony Cleaners) was my grandfathers business. I remember going there as a kid and riding the conveyor belt. They eventually moved to where Starbucks in Green Hills is now. I wish they still owned the land.

I've been reading this forum probably ever since it came on line, and enjoy everyone's posts. I probably can't offer much more than "I like that", or "that's ugly", but I'll keep looking.

Bummer. I was hoping it would be some sort of event/office space with stunning views of the city.

The only time I was up on that top floor of the Batman Building was around 1997.  It was unfinished, but was being used for a reception with Mayor Bredesen.   Spectacular views through the huge windows.   Would make a terrific restaurant/even space.

It used to be a hotel at 11 Music Square East (music stars liked to stay there for the guitar shaped pool), and is now Spence Manor Condos.
