It's so nice to see this view change even slightly with the addition of Fifth + Broadway. 505 didn't make much of an impact due to its position.

I personally love that it blocks one of my least favorite highrises in the city. It fills out that angle so much better than the wonky silhouette of the Renaissance Hotel ever did.

Yup, though it was the parking lot for Phillips & Quarles before that. That one building next to the Silver Dollar Saloon looks like it could've been as old as the 1850s. This was demolished probably right after the photo was taken, as these 2 buildings above the SDS were gone by about 1975 or so.

And remarkably that is my other favorite angle!  First shot from that overpass I've seen showing the presence Four Seasons will have in future shots from there.

I love the angle coming up the river from the I-24 bridge towards downtown.  I’ve seen a few drone shots from that angle that are magnificent…similar to this photo from Fodors.com…but a little further back and higher.

Today's shot from Fox 17 City View webcam  https://fox17.com/news/local/fox-17-news-nashview-city-cam-network  It was aimed away from downtown for a couple of weeks, and returned today with a wide view from the south. If you look closely you can even see part of the fairgrounds/speedway.
