That shot / vantage point is one of my favorites. On a more clear day you can see all of the way to the Virgin Hotel. I really love how the sweeping and curved rooflines of Bridgestone Arena and MCC look mixed in with all of the new high rises.

This is a screen shot from the ESPN+ broadcast of TSU's game at Hale Stadium on 4/11/21.  Sorry for the graininess and darkness, but it's the best I could get it from the broadcast.  As the 2nd half was starting, ESPN did a city view from the stadium.  I was struck by it because I remember that view from my years at TSU during the early 80's.  I also remember it from when I left Nashville in 2000.  I used to love that view then.  To say the least, it is far more impressive today because of how it stretches from the downtown core to mid-town.

First time seeing the AT&T building since the bombing. Do we know what the plans for the building are? Looks like some of the facade has been removed. Hopefully they'll at least remove the burn marks.

Here's the current photo from Fox 17 live cam.  Removing the outer shell.  Hoping they replace it with something other than that ugly red wall…like at least put some fake windows in it.

Okay, I know this is a reach, but when I saw the photo above it was reminiscent of the famous Painted Ladies shot in San Francisco.  Too bad the new construction isn't done in old Victorian style and there's no park across the street...   If you're ever in SF, you have to go view that shot in person.  It's absolutely stunning.

Super nice photo.  I've mentioned before how this is one of my two favorite vantage points.  After my parents divorced, I moved to MS with my mother, yet every summer from like fourth grade to 10th,  I'd be in Nashville with my dad.  We would cross this overpass every day going to my stepmom's parents house in east Nashville.  I fell in love with this view back then and today it still holds so many fond memories of those summers long past.  I remember taking my very first photo of  Nashville's skyline from that very spot back in the late eighties.  Going to try and find it to post.  I reprised the shot last October when I came to town as a result of reading all of your posts in UP about the construction boom.   As I stood on the overpass, it was so weird to see the seemingly high end condos where before there was little more than industrial blight.  Anyway, enough of my reminiscing.  Keep the shots coming!
