Wrong Buckingham Companies, If you Are You are talking about Larry Glazer who was the founder of Buckingham Residential out of Rochester NY. This is The Buckingham Companies out of Indianapolis. Glazer and his wife died in a plane crash in 2014.

Yeah, that's the guy, Glazer.  I didn't know about the plane crash and my time line was off. Thanks for letting me know, Smeags.  Just one thing, did you find that in the 8 ball?

I have a crystal ball I look into from time to time. I sort of remember this happening and realized then there were two different companies. The one in NY is a lot larger I do believe.

Photo from May 6, 2020. Late afternoon on an eerily empty Lower Broadway. Such a bizarre feeling to walk around downtown that afternoon! I probably encountered no more than a dozen pedestrians during my 90 minute stroll.

I think it was intentional as it is owned by the 3rd Nat bank Tr. & Acklen Park Lawns Asso. The land is listed as Commercial use but the appraised value of each parcel seems wildly low as far as the estimated totals.

There has to be something that has to be keeping it park land as far as an agreement, but that was before my time here. Need an old timer to explain.

I was a very little kid when we lived in Tennessee and I remember going from the hills to Nashville and how dramatic and exciting it was to get that first glimpse of the L&C Tower as you approached downtown.  It stood all alone but very proud and very tall looking.  It may as well have been the Empire State Building to this little boy.

The quality is great on that drone footage, but it's not a taking a path one of us would prefer.  The operator spends most of the time on the older core of downtown and wastes time on the stadium instead of highlighting the new parts with all the new towers.   Would like to see some passes not limited to recording from the river bank.

There was this cool shot of the 4 Seasons and canyon beyond it to the Embassy Suites tower...
