^^^I was thinking the same thing about the Kitty Moon sign.  I hope we have one on each side.  That's one of my favorite neon signs.

Doh. That shot manages to miss pretty much all the new construction. I guess these guys that take the same tired shot are not urban planet geekers.

This was a screen shot from a 5 minute video circling all of the downtown area, so you're just seeing part of the whole experience.

Mark, that's nice but the point is it's yet another shot of the boring part of town.  There's 20 cranes up right now, and the selected shot manages to miss them all!  

I'm  desperate for some drone photography on this forum.  There's some great shots on the Charlotte forum.  Those high up shots are really cool as they capture a lot of context and can frame a building with more of it's surroundings.

There are PLENTY of high-up shots on this forum.  Not every photo on this particular thread is dedicated to just new construction.

I can't recall the last drone shot on the Nashville forum.  It's been months.  There's a couple of guys on the Charlotte forum battling for the best drone shots. If I lived in Nashville, I'd contribute by going out and getting some shots.

I did miss that YouTube video. Nice! I gave it just it's 2nd like.  

I'm very appreciate of the ground shots.     Thanks for the posts.

It's like that plot with the large antenna is becoming a 'green space' that over time will be surrounded by tallish projects.
Could set up a time where the antenna would be removed, turning the lot into a unique development opportunity.

It's just a matter of time until Cumulus Radio sells that entire-block-sized pot of gold.  I'm sure they are getting many, many offers.

No, we need that spot to become a massive building built to the maximum height possible to completely block City Lights view of everything.  Then they can no longer object to anything built west of that location on the grounds that it blocks their view.

Funny story, one of the City Lights residents referred to that site as a park during the public meeting for 2nd/Peabody and was very surprised to learn it could be redeveloped.
