Who owns the state employee surface lots on the west side of Rosa Parks? Know if there are any formal plans for those - in the short term or long?

Yep, if it is a State lot then the State owns it with the exception of Parking lot 17 at 10th and Lifeway. There are suppose to be apartments built there and that is owned by Boyle as part of the Capitol View project

I think the state will hold on to them. There will be a shift at some point by another governor to bring all of the state offices back downtown from Metro Ctr and they will not have the land to build the office buildings on. You know how these governors are. Back and forward!

Four Seasons view from 40th floor, Martin B Cherry, July 21, 2021, 4 x.png

This photo makes me think of what could have been...with the lost Fairmount and original 2nd & Peabody proposals.  Looking to the Hensler project, the new 2nd & Peabody proposal, and the yet to be named project at the corner of Hermitage and KVB to save the day!  Who knows, maybe we get lucky and some deep pocket relocating entity swoops in and goes tall right there.  That would be so sweet.  It along with close neighbors Four Seasons and AT&T would be the Tic-Tac-Toe of height in Music City.
