But the College Football Playoff trophy was DEFINITELY designed that way.

Agreed, scrolling through at first I didn’t think it was Nashville! I’d like to see this same angle in about four years. With A3 and Pinnacle, the Y  … etc.

Eager to see that view in a few years with Vandy complete, including the athletic facilities,  and the Hayes & church street and GBT towers rising, along with the third of downtown blocked from the picture to the right.

Obviously, I want to see the 60 story building on Church Street in near future shots of this photo.  I also want the shot to pan north a bit more to capture River North and Oracle.  You can see Top Golf in this photo.  Just imagine how nice it's going to be to see mid-rise and hopefully high-rise buildings in that area.

Thanks!  I know I’m off a little on height and placement…but I think it at least gives us an idea of kinda what it will look like…just those NY buildings and Tony’s 750 footer.  Can’t wait to see it all happen.

Yep, but I'd rather see this (future) shot zoomed out a bit and panned south to capture all the KVB and Gulch action, along with the Reed and Beaman lots and all the other Midtown/Church St development.  This shot in a decade will be almost totally unrecognizable with most of the familiar landmarks downtown blocked out completely.

I certainly don't disagree except I need for buildings to go up faster... my clock is about to hit 60 at the end of this month... so I'm not thinking a decade or more out... . 

I certainly want to see how all of the developments impact the skyline's density and stretch.  I think sometimes we forget about the impact that River North will have on the transformation of that southern approach into downtown.  And, it hit me upon seeing this photo presented today that it will even have an impact from the western aerial views in terms of stretching the skyline in a tapering off affect.  Much better than seeing all of the light industrial and warehouse buildings that were dominating that area.

^^I see that and I don’t even know what to think of it.  Unless you live here and pass by it every day, I don’t think many would know it’s Nashville because it seems to change every few weeks.  Crazy!
