Once again, I fully agree with the point you're making, but I think it's important to acknowledge that sometimes these things come at a cost. And it's especially important to bear that in mind if we want to convince more of Nashville's citizens to view these projects more amiably.

When I become a billionaire, I will rebuild all of Nashville's lost treasures!

These power lines!!!  Good grief!  IMO, a part of moving into the big leagues is burying those lines. 

When I see images of LA and Chicago and Miami and Seattle, I don't see power lines.

Take a phased approach.  Let's go!

Totally agree! They are so ugly and distracting.

I live in a neighborhood here in Brooklyn that has all underground utilities. When I see areas (most of the US) without them buried I'm like why oh why aren't they?

They are  beautiful streetcar lines in my mind to distract me from reality.

Here is an updated shot from The Maxwell House.  If all of Giarratana's stuff gets built, the right side of this picture will become dominant.  Not to mention Nashville Yards.  Then the Tennessean site, and Reed District...and Beaman....   Well, you get the picture.

For real.  This photo LITERALLY looks to me as if someone photoshopped in a building graphic as opposed to it being a real structure.

Was in town for a couple of days for training at bridgestone tower.

Got some shots from the 14th floor at Bridgestone, 10th floor at the Drury, and Rooftop at Jason Aldeans. 

I counted 12 cranes in the first pic. 

Also, I did not see any movement or workers at the world's slowest bar build. Is the project dead? It's been 5+ years!
