This appeared in my Facebook timeline today.

From Channel 17's webcams today.  In a couple of years, the right side of the Tennessee Tower will be solid buildings all the way to the right (Gibson 2).

The white wall behind them looks almost like a large lake between them and downtown.  Would be cool.

Does anyone know anything about this place?  The web site says it was in Nashville. I'd guess that's from the first couple decades of the last century... phone number is old style (6 digits).

I know it's not that long of a bridge but I wonder if G&S will pretty much just recreate the current style of the bridge or attempt to do something with new design elements and features.

That three years strikes me as total time before it's done, not the duration that the Broadway viaduct is going to be closed. With using the same techniques they used in the Fast Fix 8, it should be a max of a couple months of closure.

We have a winner. This is a shot I think with the most cranes in the smallest area. I had to get to a point where I could get them all with a wide-angle lens. That was the tricky part. The hard one to see was the Hilton Tempo.
