The owner of the N Club in downtown Greensboro is selling his club to a company called RX International. The company is affiliated with the House of Blues and the deal will close on Monday. The N Club includes an upscale balcony bar called the Red Room and RX International intends to keep those names. What makes this such a big thing for downtown Greensboro is that all the major bands that appear at the House of Blues locations around the country in cities such as Chicago, Cleveland, Los Angeles and Atlanta will appear at the N Club in downtown Greensboro. This means the N CLub will host big acts that include famous musicians bands such as Def Leppard and Brian McKnight. This is just more great news for downtown Greensboro and the new ownership will really help make Greensboro a major entertainment and nightlife destination. The N Club will be a part of the House of Blues network. The media reported that RX Interntational could turn Greensboro into one of THE big live music meccas of the Carolinas. The deal could spin off more big entertainment opportunites for downtown Greensboro.
