Various downtown scenes on South Elm Street

Arlington Street Lofts in Southside are under construction

These are more townhomes in Southside under construction (Macadoo Street)

these are interesting because they will have courtyard/gardens in between the townhomes and the garages.

The Tower Homes at southside are coming along. They dont look as bad now because they are adding coolor to them now.

Great photo tour! I like the new townhomes on MacAdoo St. I think it is cool how the garages are detached from the houses.

I think Greensboro will be ready for a downtown grocery store very soon. When you think about all of the projects in the 2 posts of pictures plus the 17 story Centerpointe tower, doubling the downtown Greensboro population within the next 5 years doesn't seem at all out of the question.

I agree, And I think the Grocery store should be a full scale super market and not a mini supermarket.

You can expect development to really get a boost once a supermarket comes downtown. A lot of development in downtown Columbia started happening once Publix opened downtown.

I haven't been around Elm St/Southside in a few months so it's nice to see an update!
