Hi, how long will you be there? Also, what are things that you enjoy doing during the day or night? Give me some examples and i will try to help ya out. :D

Are you a bar hopper/night clubber, gay, straight scenes?

Do you like to eat at fancy restaurants or casual diner?

History buff?

Will you be renting a car or using public transportation?

Are you going with family, friends, children?

hmmm?

I will be there for 9 days. I am interested in everything really. I wish I could bar hop, but I am underage (17) so..... No bar hopping for me. I don't care to eat fancy, normal is fine with me!! Yes, I LOVE History, I am a history fanatic!!!! We will be renting a car and using "The Bus". Finally, yes, I will be with my family.

Sweet. Here are a few links that you can check out with info of things to do or places to see:

First site is my site, its a work in progress but there's some cool stuff to check out. I guess you could check out the "family fun" section. http://www.freewebs.com/honoluludabigpineapple/

Hawaii Events Online is aslo another great place site to see whats going on around the city: http://www.hawaiieventsonline.com/

Honolulu Weekly: http://www.honoluluweekly.com/

BTW there are clubs that you could get into if you are under 18. I can't think of the names off hand though. :( Galaxy night club is one perhaps?

Other sites to check out:

http://www.808shows.com/events.html

http://www.unitycrayons.com/home.html

As for beaches don't stay in WAikiki its probably Hawaii's worst beach, i'd say go to Kailua Beach, Waimanalo or the north shore areas.

As for shopping my site has some suggested places and some of those are locally grown so you might find something there that you may not back home.

Shopping for food for the hotel room or for snacks you guys could go to Chinatown or if you have a Costco membership, safeway card etc you could use those in Hawaii too and i think the Costco in Iwilei has a gas station too. It all helps to save money if its a concern because Waikiki is an expensive place to eat and shop.

Hmm let me know man, like some of the things you'd like to do or see like include your interests and i will try to throw some ideas your way of where to go.

For history stuff:

The Bishop Museum is awesome and so is the new volcano thing they got at the science center, the Waipahu Plantation Village is also another great place to learn a little about Hawaii's plantation and multi-cultural history. Of course Pearl Harbor too.

Anyhow, let me know some more details about you or your family's interests. :D
