That friggin film is so biased. It was funded by Electric Cars Go! A profitable electric car company in Europe. Electricity is very dangerous, in the event of a rain storm you'd get electrocuted. Now what would happen during the winter and you're in your very nice gasoline powered vehicle? You'd be warm because gasoline burns with flames, it can get very hot.
