I did very little planning for my Stockholm trip. Upon my return to London from the continent, I only had a day of rest before I had to fly again. So I just randomly started walking around, armed with a map on my hand.

Skeppsholmen is a small island off the main bustling areas of Stockholm. It is a quiet retreat with a lot of trees and water.

There are also a lot of boats!

There were a lot of signs on the waterfront with historic information on some of the boats. I'm not sure if they referred to the exact boats that were anchored next to it. Some of them didn't look like what was in the picture.

My hostel was only a few blocks away from the main rail and bus station.
