Schwankovsky Temple of Music. Built in 1891, it was the last building in Detroit framed with cast iron instead of steel. It was also one of the first buildings in the city to have electric elevators

The Fyfe Building was converted into apartments a few years ago. It also has ground floor retail, although it is currently vacant. A Starbucks is rumored to be moving in, however.
