That's a very beautiful picture. Was it taken in southeastern Oklahoma? The terrain looks rather mountainous.

Lake Tenkiller is in Northeastern Oklahoma's Boston Mountians, part of the Ozarks. They aren't as big as SE Oklahoma's Ouachita Mountains, which are the tallest between the Appalacians and the Rockies.

Lake Tenkiller is, on most sides, a fairly developed vacation lake. Any scenic lake with close proximity to Tulsa in this state (and that includes one or two in Arkansas) have been developed with resorts and vacation homes.

Grand Lake is a very nice resort community, but I also like the more natural appearance of Lake Tenkiller. It's also fairly close to the Illinois River, another excellant natural resource.

those are VULTURES, not hawks... and they happen to be on a "dead" tree near lake ten"killer".
