An interesting parallel

I think the parallel is interesting. But unlike the country we are being compared to, we have the option to do things right. We had the choice in 1932 to go the route of Germany and elect leaders much like Adolf Hitler, or to do what was needed at the time and elect FDR, someone who championed hard work and a little financial security to get the country back on its feet.
