And if boybands are gay, are girl groups lesbians?

If a girl group like the ######(think kitties)cat Dolls, or Destiny's child ever came out of the closet I think the reaction would be much different.

(More like *droool*, thats hot man!)

Any of you who were fans of the 1960s Bewitched (not the horrible remake of 2005) might be interested to know that Uncle Author, played by Paul Lynn, was Gay. Also the second Darren, Dick Sargent, was Gay.

Maybe lesser known was that the all American dad on the Brady Bunch, Mike Brady, played by Robert Reed was also Gay.

The cast and crew of Bewitched were reportedly eons ahead of their times. Not only were Uncle Arthur and Darrin #2 gay as stated earlier by metro, it was also rumoured that Agnes Moorehead (Endora, Samantha's mother) was a lesbian.

I never heard anything conclusive about Endora being gay, but it's been a lasting rumour long after her death.

Elizabeth Montgomery, a hetro, was reportedly extremely liberal and open-minded and loved her peers. The producers of the show also had....WHAT???...black actors on the show!! And not maids or butlers but regular everyday folks:) For anyone not familiar with the show, it was in the middle 1960s to very early 70s.

What a magical show it was! And how fun to know, after all these years that some of your favorite TV stars from decades past were in fact gay:)

Rumours about John Travolta being bisexual are true. He was outed a decade ago by Paul Baressi, a hunky porno star who he had an affair with. He has a wife and kids, but he relentlessly flirts with men in public.

One I always wondered about is Billy Zane....

Ricky Martin, always rumored to be gay, was spotted at a nightclub in Caymey Puerto Rico not that long ago with a male companion getting a littl chummy. People say that in Puerto Rico, it is well-known by the locals. The PR pride of the natives will not permit them to out one of their own.

I thought by now everyone knew about Robert Reed... especially with all the Brady specials. It wasn't a secret that much after his death.

And Darren #2 and Uncle Arthur... hahahaha even as a kid I knew and I didn't even know what I knew!

John Travolta?

Well I remember at work they talked about Puff Daddy, Puffy, P Diddy , Diddy was supposedly caught in bed with Ma$e. Another rumor about Ja Rule. Oh and I knew about Tevin Campell from a picture on his second album. I'm sure in the hip hop/R&B culture, coming out would be a disaster.

Anyone over 40 remember Wally Cox? A real gay regular on the original Hollywood Squares (along with flamer Paul Lynde). He even did a short stint on the Beverly Hillbillies as Miss Jane's 98 pound weakling, bird-watching boyfriend!

A lesbian and a gay man portraying a hetero couple! Ya have to love the poetic justice of it all:)

oh yeah, back to Lance......an earlier post mentioned the possibility that Lance came out now in order to boost his notoriety (and career) After thinking about it a while, I'm starting to agree.

If it was a contrived outing, it has been a huge success and sure has given him a ton of free publicity. And so far I haven't heard of any negative feedback about his being gay~~ publically coming out may be the best thing that ever happened to his career!

MJ claims he is straight and he was married to Elvis Pressley's daughter. He has also, more than once, accused of being a pedophile. He settled out of court in the civil cases and in the criminal case was found not guilty. Pedophilia has nothing to do with being Gay but often hateful and/or ignorant people try to link the two together. Most pedophiles are found to be straight.

Amanda Bearse who played Marcy on Married With Children. She was the funny next-door-neighbor of the Bundy family.

And surely everyone knows Johnny Mathis is gay:)

You guys have to excuse me for being so shocked. I kinda live a sheltered life. But, Amanda Bearse is dead? That's news to me. But you know, she was never girly and she was so militant on the show, it kinda showed.

And Johnny Mathis is gay? Well I actually knew that from looking info up on him, but I was more shocked that he's black!
