Wow I cant believe Pelzer is so high up on the list!

Pelzer is s small mill village on the Saluda River on the Anderson/Greenville line.

We really do reach all corners of SC then... even if people don't join the discussion :)

Interesting... how is this calculated?

I think when you sign up for UP they get your city and state. If not that then they get it from your IP address.

It is the latter. ;)

The only problem is that I post from my laptop when I'm out of town.

As do several of us - at least occasionally, if not frequently. ^_^

i never heard of pelzer

Pelzer is actually a pretty nice town. I used to work at the maximum security Perry prison just down the road. Friendly people, lovely, hilly landscapes, a growing population, and the town is conveniently located near Fountain Inn and the southern edge of the Greenville metro area. It makes for a short commute up Hwy. 25 to Greenville.

Every website logs the IP address of its vistors, and they can get basic info like this. I don't know the specifics about how it works. But if you are out of town, then it would log the IP address of where you are. Thats all you are seeing here.

Great stats, thanks for sharing Metro!

Seeing people logged in from small towns like Longs, Abbeville and Kingstree is pretty damn cool!
