how far is this away from SJTC and The Avenues? i don't think jacksonville can handle another mall w/o negatively affecting another mall or negatively affecting itself.

Until the developers overdo it like they did with enclosed malls.

Its about 10-15 miles away from the Avenues and 25 or more from SJTC.

This won't be open until 2010. The World Golf Village area has about 6 or 7 huge housing developments under construction right now, not to mention all that is built and being built at CR 210 just 5 miles north. This mall shouldn't steal too much from the Avenues and and SJTC. This will also service St. Augustine because there isn't a descent mall between there and Jax other than the outlets.

There is inter-linking ownership and management. It is a very small circle and what money is coming out of one property is going into the pocket of another. Retailers want locations within 17 miles of their target demographic draw a 30 minute travel circle from each location. Thats where sites are located

I'm all for the indoor malls. Protection from rain and extreme tempratures.
