Me and my german lady are coming to Shreveport soon. For your money what is the best seafood restaurant in town? Are there any good German restaurant in Shreveport? Ok guys imagine that yoou are Rachel Ray and have $40 a day to spend eating. Where would you go in SBC for unbelievable bargains.

There used to be an all u can eat catfish place that overlooked a lake there. Love to eat over the water

Please exclude casinos and franchised restaurants

Go to Wilson's Bistineau Inn, Smith's Cross Lake Inn, or Bayou Inn on Dorcheat in Dixie Inn. <-- and no, I'm not being funny with all the "inns," but these are all places I'd recommend. Cypress Inn I believe is now closed due to a fire a while back but I could be wrong.

If you're trying to stay under $40/day, skip Smith's Cross Lake Inn. It can be a bit pricier than the others.

David Beard's Catfish Village is part of a local chain, but the one in Waskom overlooks a catfish pond. If that's the atmosphere you're looking for, don't go to any David Beard's locations in Shreveport-Bossier proper because they all overlook concrete parking lots. ;)

Wilson's Bistineau Inn is this in Minden area. Was there one in Benton also? SBC area is blessed with so many lakes. I wish the chamber of commerce would market them more
