There's another neat view that I keep meaning to get a pic of... It's from about 10 miles down US 1, between West Columbia and Lexington, off of Kitty Wake Drive -- just past where it branches off to Old Two Notch.

i just metioned that view of the skyline from farrow rd over pass of I20 somewhere yesterday. its a beauty, i was saying how a new tallest with a bright top would be a great addition...one like (BoA in Atl/CLT)

For some reason I always used to like this shot of coming into downtown from Two Notch and the skyline popping out of nowhere.

Oh that one's not hard; if you think hard enough it will come to you. There are enough clues for you to figure it out.

it kind of looks like the corner of Lady and Gadsden looking north.. the only reason I say that is the church in the background and the new block wall, the one that looks almost exactly like the one next to Wild wings. If I'm wrong, I will feel really dumb because I know I drive by there every day.

For a great view of the Columbia skyline, drive up 321 from Gaston and when you pass the intersection where you would turn right to get onto 277, watch the view ahead to the right of the I-26 overpass as you drive down the hill past Bojangles and McDonald's. Sorry I don't have a camera right now and that Santa Claus isn't bringing me one.

Somebody with a digital camera (i'm too frugal to buy one) needs to go take a picture of the little crane party going on at Adesso/Horizon block

PS I like the first picture of the skyline from its backside. I actually prefer that one to the Finlay Park overused shot.
