Has anyone else noticed that driving into dowtown from afar, the wis tower with the christmas lights on it looks like the top of a tall tower. sure wish we could get the real thing perminately.

Sure wish they would get rid of those above ground power lines ...it would definately add more "curb appeal" to the entire city!

and do it quickly before things get out of hand with all this "urbanization"

Yeah, it does look like that. It would be a great position for a real tower, plus you would be removing the worst part of Columbia's skyline....

Cool pics, guys!

On that note, I need your advice. How do you get the pics to show so large on your posts? When I have put up pics, like the one I just did of the old Navy yard, they come out tiny, and have to be clicked on to look bigger--a pain for others to view.

After all the trouble of posting my pictures, I was very disappointed that they turned up so small. Maybe that explains the dismal grand total of 2 posters who have commented on them! I muist admit, with that response, it sort of discourages my posting any more pics.

Can anyone help explain to me how to make them pop? Thanks in advance!

If you use UP to host your photos then they will appear in those small boxes that need to be clicked on... that is done for bandwidth saving purposes. If you want to avoid that then you can go to a free photo hosting site such as flickr.com or phtobucket.com and use them to host your images.
