Isn't Jefferson County twice the sq/miles as Davidson? I think Davidson County is more than double the people per sq/mile stat.

probably.....as in any case...topography....size...and natural features all contribute to the population per square mile. jefferson...like Davidson...has a large northwest section of the county that rural for many reasons.

It wasn't until the Federated acquision of Rich's in the earlly 90s that Macy's and Rich's became affiliated.

Rich's was aquired by Federated in 1976, and Federated aquired Macy's in 1994.

OMT:::::> One of the posters on SSC says that Nordstrom and Saks are going to Green Hills. He/she says that Niemans was shut out at GHM. And I thought Niemans was the most likely of them all to go next.
