Houston (by Greens!)

It was a stormy day and I was driving home through town so I made a few stops and took some pictures in sepia. I started taking pictures near Katy and worked my way downtown.

The brushland/prairie to give a sense of setting.

The other pics are great too, but I didn't realize Uptown was that big.

Kind of a "because I can" type of thing it seems. I LOVE Houston and think these photos are awesome.

Greens, the sepia effect in these actually gives me the feeling of a really bad sandstorm, but in the sepia photos that have rough-looking clouds, there is a 'Wizard of Oz' look. You know, when the storm was coming and everything was blowing around.

Hey Greens, those are really nice photo's. I am suprised there is not more participation in the Houston forum. That's one HUGE city. Could you imagine putting Houston and it's multiple skylines on an island the size of Manhattan 3 X 11 ???

Great job on the pics! I always enjoy looking at the urban jungle of Houston. The Medical District continues to grow more impressive. The new housing on the 2nd to last photo is really nice looking between the streets with the tree right there.
