Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach Metro is definately attracting Europeans along Carribeans. Broward County actually led the U.S. in African American growth for the past decade. It's also quite interesting that you can go to several parts of Miami Beach and Miami and see Russian, Italian, etc influences throughout the city. You at least have to say that South Beach has a European feel to it. :D

Part of the reason for that African-American growth in Broward is influx of Caribbean blacks, some of which are also fleeing from Miami-Dade as it becomes increasingly latinized.

It's a popular area with Europeans, no doubt, but I think they are a small part of the resident population. Now, as far as tourists the beaches of Miami-Dade and Broward (less so) are littered with French, Germans, British, etc. There is a Jewish migration northward into Broward and PBC from Dade with the rest of the flight in terms of residential population.

Broward really is as much as melting pot as any place in America save NYC. It's really diverse in just about every way.
