Does Pine Bluff have their own TV station?

I do wonder if not having any LR stations helps this area of the state feel a bit more separated. I wonder how this works in other states.

I can tell you that people in South Florida feel completley disconnected from Tallahassee. Its like an entirely different state.

Yeah, once you go past Orlando, it's like a different country. South Florida is like Europe, IMO.

Southwest Florida is different from the whole Palm Beach/Broward/Dade co area. That metro is different. I don't know that I would say European, just different. More South American and Caribbean but definitely a melting pot. I almost took a fellowship spot in Miami once.

Miami/Ft. Lauderdale/Palm Beach Metro is definately attracting Europeans along Carribeans. Broward County actually led the U.S. in African American growth for the past decade. It's also quite interesting that you can go to several parts of Miami Beach and Miami and see Russian, Italian, etc influences throughout the city. You at least have to say that South Beach has a European feel to it.

Part of the reason for that African-American growth in Broward is influx of Caribbean blacks, some of which are also fleeing from Miami-Dade as it becomes increasingly latinized.

It's a popular area with Europeans, no doubt, but I think they are a small part of the resident population. Now, as far as tourists the beaches of Miami-Dade and Broward (less so) are littered with French, Germans, British, etc. There is a Jewish migration northward into Broward and PBC from Dade with the rest of the flight in terms of residential population.

Broward really is as much as melting pot as any place in America save NYC. It's really diverse in just about every way.

Oddly enough, the Miami Dade metro has the highest foreign born population in the world.

You can tell there's a European influence on the beaches by all the speedos you see on South Beach.

It's not that odd Miami-Dade is majority foreign-born. It's 65% Hispanic and 15% Caribbean black.

True, but I was shocked to see it had a higher foreign born population than Toronto, Los Angeles, New York City, and London.
