Great reconstruction thread. My girl's grandmother grew up in this neighborhood. She said it used to be really nice. Great to see it start to come back to life.

Yeah, Brush park used to be one of the nicest neighborhoods in the city. Unfortunately it fell upon hard times. It was perhaps one of the worst neighborhoods in the city, but Crosswinds and a few others have come in and that is changing quickly. I hope to go through this neighborhood when I go to Detroit tomorrow. (And I'll be bringing back pics .)
