Was no-one going to tell me I confused a building with a vaccine???

What's even more hilarious about this is that I have already been laughing to myself since last summer over the fact that both companies' logos use the same font (Century Gothic or some variant), one in lowercase, one in uppercase.

Amazing photos as always, @IAmFloridaBorn.

Thank god they kept the Amelia Street curve - the reveal of the courthouse coming around the curve is killer!

I agree! The curve adds some character to the area to without disrupting the city grid.

Thanks in large part to the efforts of some concerned citizens.....

Do you think that the Parking lot at the end of Luminary Green will eventually be absorbed by the park?  It seems a terrible use of space for that area.  I also wish they would extend to park all the way to Lake Dot, and add more amenities for the overlapping communities who both work and live in that area.

You would think they would’ve extended  the park, but apparently it is proposed for future development according to the Creative Village website . I would like to see the park extended or perhaps a museum.

The restaurant in the Julian (The Monroe) should open this month. I know it seems like an odd locale for a nice, upscale place at this moment, but I think when Modera and EA fill up it will be quite a success.

They are wayyyyyy off that target. No chance this month.

You may be right, the final stages of any project are always the slowest, but I don't see them as being "wayyyyy" off.  The kitchen is pretty well set up as is the bar. Flooring is done as is painting. Some booths are installed and some furniture appears to be onsite. Much of the staff has been hired in the past 2 weeks and the chef is posting pictures of his dishes on IG. I suppose they could pull it off in another 27 days, but even if possible it may make more sense to push their soft opening to after Easter. Regardless, given this place was still dirt floors 4 months ago, they have really moved fast.

Is this the first new restaurant to open in CV / Parramore as a result of UCF Downtown?

It will be interesting to see if regulars willvwntire over.

We’re anxiously awaiting the 7-Eleven...

You laugh but I personally think a 7-Eleven would work well with the college students in the area.  Red Bull, cheap beer, and garbage food? Seems like a perfect match.
