Agenda for this Wednesday. Only one item, but it revolves around affordable housing. Is there a staff report that might be viewed for this meeting beforehand?

this is a workshop so that we can get better aquainted with the process, it is a public meeting, as all our meetings are public, but it isn't a hearing or anything. It is just a working session. We might get a staff report but probably not til we get to the meeting.

How does one get info about agendas for the city plan commission. The list of meetings hasn't been updated for two months on the planning dept website. Under upcoming meetings it lists Sept. 13, 1006. Guess I missed that one.

I tried also going through the Secretary of State website and could get info there either.

OK, this picture does show them being on the property in question:

But I swear I remember hearing that this wasn't going to impact them. Maybe it's just a showroom at 25 and the rest of their property is across the street.

Here's the thread for this project:

http://www.urbanplanet.org/forums/index.php?showtopic=29138

And here's a quote from a quote of a Phoenix article in that thread:

a complex of old mills on the Eagle Street side of Eagle Square (commonly misidentified as Eastern Butcher Block because of the prominent signage displayed by its neighbor)

I'm still confused, but it seems regardless of what the sign says, Eastern Butcher Block is across the street. But I believe that is an ALCO building, so who knows what's going on.

My understanding is that the buildings east of Eagle are ALCO and those (all or most) on the west that aren't part of the Feldco Eagle Square development are Urban Smart Growth's and slated for redevelopment. It's hard to say whether Eastern Butcher Block is part of the USG plan because the buildings there are interconnected.
