Brent Warr Unveils Ambitious Plan for the Gulfport Waterfront

Mayor Brent Warr has unveiled a plan to transform a formerly gritty downtown port into a recreation area with as many as six casinos, hotels and other amenities. The plan is merely in the concept stage at this point, but he claims that several large development companies are ready to climb aboard his ship. If realized, this plan could transform downtown Gulfport into a beautiful city. Much will need to be done, however, and these plans are just the starting gate.
