You still need condo insurance to cover the improvements. The association insurance covers the building, so generally your personal policy is very very cheap. You also still pay property taxes.

I would be willing to bet I could find at least 4 or 5 friends in the area who would do the same. Also, this would probably work well up on the property Gilmore is trying sell on the corner of Fulton and Carlton (near Aquinas, across from the Family Fare).

That Gilmore property on Fulton at Carlton...any idea what is likely to happen there?...or what should happen? Some kind of contemporary mixed residential/retail might fit that area. I understand restuarant with liquor license is problematic...within 500 ft of a school or something.
