The ole' broads went to Alaska! All pictures were taken by my nana and my great aunt.

The flight to Seattle. I think this is Mt St. Helens or maybe Rainier.

I was in Juneau two years ago and I loved it. You just get such a feeling of isolation from the bustling of the rest of the world. It was so nice to sit there at night and hear nothing but a soft breeze blowing through the mountain tops.. oh, and it being light out from 3am to midnight!

We were there during an exceptionally warm, dry time though in May. Ketchikan usually gets about 150" of rain per year and Juneau getting around 80-100"... so we lucked out. The pictures of the cloud shrouded mountains looks much more typical of SE Alaska.
