I don't think this will necessarily result in increased promiscuity. Promiscuity has and always will be a fact of life.

I think Plan B is long overdue, and I'm glad to see the FDA has approved it. It's tough being female. (That said, I am happy to be female, but I am very conscious of the disparities in treatment of the sexes when it comes to pay, predators, etc.) And we're the losers when it comes to an unplanned pregnancy. In a sexual relationship, the stakes are just too high for the female, and it's unfair. I think this will even the score somewhat.

Although this decision will not affect me personally, I am very happy that women will finally have a choice that won't involve drastic measures (e.g., abortion).
