On my last trip to Puerto Rico I went to take a few pictures of the new convention center, and the security guys at the door allowed me to go inside a take a few more, and I would like for you guys to enjoy them.

I would like to remind you guys that the Puerto Rico convention center is just part of the new convention district. The Convention District will have a 500 room hotel, residential condo apartments and the new

Puerto Rico World Trade Center.

This is the main water fountain in front of the center, this fountain cost about 3 million dollars.

Awesome thats a big convention center i also like the fact that they have plans to utilize the empty space near it to build a World Trade Center, condos etc. I wonder if these things will give San Juan more visibility to the US Mainland as a major business center and not just a tourist destination.

But ofcourse these things are giving Puerto Rico a visibiliti of a major business center, and not just the convention center but the new coliseum also.

we are having such a success with this two facilities that next month we will have the first NHL game ever in the caribbean. and the return of the NBA

I hate it when the NBA,NHL,MLB,WWE,etc. come over here cause tickets cost about 3 times what they cost in mainland US.
