This is Cobourg, Ontario. It is located 1 hour east of Toronto with a population of 20,000. It is currently seeing a housing and condo boom due to its proximity to the GTA but retains an active historic core and one of the better waterfronts on the Great Lakes (for a small town). There alot of towns like this scattered around southern Ontario.

Rumour has it Elton John (yes Elton John) bought a condo here, his husbands parents live in a nearby town.
