New park Downtown

PNC is building a park across the street from Firstside Center. It will be privately owned but open to the public. Sounds perfect to me!

Presumably PNC will maintain it, so the city won't have to do anything or spend any money on its upkeep. But everyone will be able to enjoy it just like a public park.

They expect to finish it next spring.

While I am all for new parks, I don't know if it is the best use for this location, but it is certainly an improvement.
