WSU Gambles on Dorms

Oh yeah, I saw that this morning. I don't see how it's a gamble at all though, as long as they're well made, well priced, and have decent security they'll do well.

I'm betting more students would want to live on campus if more housing was available.

I like how they quote the girl that's only 15 minutes away about the value of on-campus to commuting -- its a ridiculous example. Albeit that, its a great idea, I can't wait for it grow even more. Imagine it doubling to around 5-6,000 students. The effect would be tremendous.

I like how WSU is focusing on a more residential approach. It shows that it's growing up and maturing.

There are a TON of students and their parents on campus today for convocation. The foot traffic is awesome!

Hopefully everything goes smoothly... They didn't mention much in the article so I'm not sure what I'm allowed to talk about. I will find out at work the next couple of days and find out if I can tell you more :P
