SunTrust to Build New Building at Cherokee Blvd and N. Market Street

The developer is asking the Board of Zoning Appeals for a height variance to increase the allowed height to 75', and from 4 stories to 5. If approved the building will have the bank and other retail on the first floor, the 4 stories above will be residential. The plans are not finished yet so there are not many details available yet.

Yes.

It's on the SW Corner of the intersection with N. Market St. Cherokee Blvd and Frazier Ave. I'm not sure where the property lines are but I think the south end of the bank lot borders the park.

This has been delayed temporarily. They are waiting on the zoning height restriction for the North Shore district to be changed from 4 to 5 stories. Instead of getting a variance.
