Up and down Main St. I figure the best time to get it would be in the early morning daylight. Also this overlooks the site of Echo Harbour.

I LOVE pictures from this area! Thanks for the tour, Cam. Looks like you had a nice time enjoying the gorgeous day :)

and WOW. The Lucky Strike Building on Tobacco Row, theyve really started to pick up on the renovations! Taking out the old, boarded windows was a tremendous improvment itself!

Thanks and that's not even the half of it! I had to quit because well I have 284 more pics from today at the fair. Of course that number will come down once I see how well or bad pics came out. My camera and night shots are not the best combination.

I'll get started on the rest of it... and tomorrow I'll upload last Sunday!

And I took urban's advice and put the whole thread on text file earlier.

I love the angles from 14th St and the view from Mayos Bridge/Island

DSCF6537.jpg

DSCF6538.jpg

The same angle as my submission... wow can't hardly see the Capitol anymore!

The murals are a bad idea now... unless you paint them on! they're all faded now.

DSCF6567.jpg

I never noticed the boat.

I like this photo I found off of the Henrico Business web site. Just thought I share. It's different perspective:

Well, it's not working. I'll have to link the page:

AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!!!!!! :shok:

Henrico.jpg

Whew that's better.

And that sure looks like Henrico County!

Fact of the matter is unless you want to photograph Short Pump Town Center there's really nothing exciting to see in Henrico County. That seems to be the rule for suburbs in general. Beautiful architecture is not their forte.

Like they should, all surrounding counties, including Henrico, acknowledge downtown Richmond as the "center" of the metro area. This photo on Henrico's site is proof of that! So, why not just merge us all together into one singe enity already! The way it is right now is like have a neighbor with benefits!
