Curious if current steel and wood pricing will have an impact on size and type of construction. Will it make concrete more favorable? Will it help push heights ?

Concrete structures and steel structures can both push heights.  For example there are 700+ ft towers in Houston which are concrete structures right next to towers of the same height built with structural steel.

Hope I answered your question.

Sometimes you just run across really cool images or videos of Richmond that you have to post.  This just so happens to be one of them (linked from r/rva - Reddit):

Tried to embed the video, but couldn't figure it out.

Excellent video! I saw it last night - just stunning. I hope whoever flew the drone and recorded (as well as edited) the video will make some other similar recordings for us to appreciate. This was really well done.

My new view.
Check out the children’s pavilion.  That box on top makes it as tall as City Hall…

nice view, so many angles I've not seen, thanks for posting.  the Children's pavilion is nice, that and the outpatient hospital have changed this area completely.  Then there will be the admin. building by the outpatient to continue to fill in.

Nice, I certainly know this exact view well.  I imagine you will be seeing some dramatic changes over the next few years from that patio.

Brent - this is an amazing photo!! Thanks so much for taking and posting it! I'm sure your vista of downtown from Manchester will be changing quite dramatically over the next 3 to 5 years - especially given what whw53 posted earlier today in a recap just of Hull Street projects. I can't wait to see more pictures - and I can't wait to see how the city changes going forward. What's happening these days in Richmond is unprecedented - certainly in my lifetime - and it is so exciting to see!
