Greensboro actually has two buildings downtown known as the "Dixie Building" This is the newest and was built in 1921. It located just across the street from the future downtown ballpark on the corner of Eugene St. and Bellemeade St. Hopefully this building will end up being a nightclub/restaurant

These next photos show the progress of the center-city park. This is just a temporary park until the final design are complete. The final park will be a more quality park and will have venues for certain activities. This is actually not bad for a temporary park. This will be were small concerts will take place. It wouldn't surprise me if they built a small amphitheater here. The parking lot section has just been bought and will become more green space for the park. Downtown Greensboro, Inc has memtioned that there will likely be a large water feature in the park.

DT Greensboro needs a few more years, until major projects get completed. Once that happens, we'll all be amazed of the progress made. Of course, it will be nice to see 2-3 new towers, but as is DT Greensboro has a warm feel to it, even on a cloudy day.
