I woudl like to spend a day or so in Toledo.

What part of town should I visit in order to learn about the history?

I would like to see the downtown, what's to do?

Any good restaurants to have dinner at?

I live in Detroit and have been to Toledo a few times. Pass through it plenty, but haven't spent much time there.

the 5/3 Field, which the AAA Affliate of the Detroit Tigers, the Toledo Mud Hens play at is a really nice new park. I have been to one game.

I have also heard their Zoo is really really cool although I have never been there myself.

A new expansion to the Art Museum called the Glass Pavilion has been built which has been pretty popular. I havent been there but it contains alot about the history of Toledo and why its called the "Glass" city you can also do some hands on stuff. Downtown there is Tony Packos resturant. There are also some resturants on the riverfront, everytime I drive by its packed so im assuming the food is good.

Keep in mind that in Toledo everything is spread out so you will need a car.
