RIPTA radio frequencies?

6 posts in this topic

Does anyone know the radio frequencies used by RIPTA? I haven't been able to find them on any of the usual Web sites that list scanner frequencies. Do they have a sneaky digital system we can't listen in on, or something?

The RI Public Transit Authority is: 457.8500

866.1500

.6500

.6625

.7000

.9250

.9500

.9750

867.1875

.2125

.9500

868.2375

.4500

.5125

.6875

.7375

I know providence fire is still 154, 151, 159. So I assumed RIPTA still used 457.

Thanks -- that's a lot of info!

[Edited to say: I got them programmed into my scanner successfully... and can report that the bus drivers are not happy about all the street closings for the road races downtown today!]
