Major Airports in the Region

Well in terms of the entire airport the new expansions are not a big deal but compared to the cars you can have an idea of how big the airport will be taking in consideration that the entire airport is a two-story building and it has a six-story tower which is the airport's hotel. For example having more than 160 commercial spaces inside the airport including stores as big as Borders, having a recreational park called Aeroparque (outside the main building) plus a hotel with casino and other amenities the total area of the airport after the expansions (shown in purple) will give SJU's a big airport image. I mean it will not be an airport like Dallas-Ft. Worth, Atlanta or LAX but it will rank somewhere high among US airports in terms of sf, amenities and things to do inside of it.

I also hope all those expansions will stay on track. At least for now they are :)
