Should NW Arkansas build a Western Bypass or Widen I-540?

My vote is to widening I-540. I'm not saying we shouldn't look into the possibility of a western bypass. But I think we need to focus on the core of the metro. I'm worried that building a western bypass simply will push all the new developments out west and increase sprawl. Why not build up the core area of the metro a little more before we start developing out again?

Exactly. Fix the current traffic problems before making more. I like that.
