You can get around the limit by posting part of them in one post, then 30 seconds later posting the next batch in another post (the site will *usually* merge the two posts into one post if you do it that quickly).

Here they are:

The Old Colorado City Historic District is on Colorado Springs west side. Colorado City was originally a seperate city, and was the territorial capital at one time.

As most people know, Colorado Springs is mostly suburban sprawl... but there is a small strip stretching from downtown westward to Manitou Springs that isn't too bad, including Old Colorado City.

I'll start with Murals.

A statue of a local farmer who gave free pumpkins to school kids every year for decades.

Trust me, they'd probably consider that to be a bug rather than a feature. They seem perfectly happy with the limit of 25 images per post, from what I've seen discussed HERE.

Nice pics. My only Colorado experiance was visiting some of the mining towns in southwest Colorado. They aren't particularly 'urban' but maybe I should pull those pics back out and post a few here now that there's an actual Colorado forum.

Thanks for the pics - I drove through Colorado City a few years ago on my way to Garden of the Gods. Considering the bad rap Colorado Springs gets, the old town is really cool (i still like the springs).
